We are looking for exceptional software engineers to build voice and text-based conversational interfaces that provide better ways for patients to interact with their medical providers and insurance companies. AI technology and tools today allow us to anticipate and respond to patient needs and proactively helping them resolve billing issues immediately. As a Conversational Agent Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and build highly engaging voice and text-based conversational interfaces, such as voice apps and chatbots, powered by AI.
  • Analyze historical audio and chat logs to uncover insights about topics and trends in patient interactions to surface areas to improve conversational agent training.
  • Work on green-field projects where you can make a significant positive impact on patients.


The ideal candidate will be an exceptional software engineer who has experience building conversational interfaces. The position will involve taking these skills and applying them to massive medical provider call centers to develop solutions that make it easier for patients to understand their medical bills. We want problem-solvers who embrace the need for a better patient experience and are excited to come to work each day, not despite the challenges but because of them.

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience building conversational interfaces powered by AI (DialogFlow or Lex preferred).
  • Strong cloud architecture and design skills; be able to design, build and lead others to build systems that will be robust in the face of change.
  • Experience building, controlling, and monitoring secure cloud-based platforms and infrastructure (HIPAA).
  • Exposure to machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools a plus.
  • Have an imagination, ambition, and intense curiosity. Be innovative. Skilled in communication.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
